Description

This position requires a strong leader who will manage the Accounts Payable Customer Success team. Customers include internal employes and vendors. This role will need to provide high levels of customer service and collaborate well with the rest of the global Accounts Payable team. This position will manage the strategic design, implementation, and optimization of customer experience programs and initiatives that ensure a best-in-class customer experience. This include researching best practices, establish metrics, and collecting and analyzing customer behaviors, sentiments, and feedback to develop a proactive roadmap of system and process improvements.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage the Accounts Payable Customer Success team in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.

• Build a strong, collaborative, cohesive team that has the skills and knowledge to support a growing, complex organization.

• Communicate effectively with team members, peers, and management by providing timely, clear, and thorough directions and responses, both in writing and verbally.

• Develop a continuous improvement strategy for the future state of the Accounts Payable Customer Success team.

• Be knowledgeable in all D365 features and functionality as it relates to accounts payable and upstream/downstream systems.

• Responsible for increasing the customer experience in Service Now by responding to escalation inquires within established SLAs via phone, email, or chat applications.

• Build strong relationships with all functional areas across the company.

• Ensure Standard Operating Procedures are in place for all significant processes.

• Analyze metrics and KPIs to ensure acceptable levels of performance and to identify improvement opportunities.

• Assist in annual vendor tax filings, such as forms 1099 and 1042.

• Assist or lead special projects as directed by the Global Process Owner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field with a minimum 3 years of Accounts Payable management experience with a large company. MBA and/or CPA a plus.

• Strong people leader with a focus on customer service who can build cross-functional relationships with other departments and stakeholders across the company.

• Significant experience working with Accounts Payable and ERP systems (Specifically Microsoft D365), ServiceNow, reporting tools, and business intelligence tools.

• High proficiency with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.

• Strong analytical, problem solving, and time management skills.

• “Out of the box” thinker not afraid to challenge the status quo.

• Experience driving system related projects and process improvement initiatives.

• Excellent written/verbal communication skills and attention to details.
